Since 2005 4C Foods has been sending Totally Light 2GO™ drink mixes to the US troops in Iraq and Afghanistan. Working with the food service brass
of the Department of Defense, 4C has helped turn these GI's plain bottle water into an instant flavored nutritious beverage. And thanks to the innovative single serve stick pack technology, these men and women in uniform can pack them and take them anywhere.

There is more green to 4C Foods than the 4C Totally Light™ Green Tea drink mix. The fact is that the 4C Foods Corp. has been environmentally conscientious for years. Back in the 1990's, we took steps to dramatically reduce our cardboard usage in bulk packaging as well as implementing a cardboard recycling program with our retail partners. More recently 4C Foods Corp. made a major investment in high efficiency green power by installing a clean burning Combined Heat and Power (CHP) plant on-site. The CHP not only provides electricity to the entire facility, (including AC and cold storage), the system also recovers waste heat off the engines and exhaust, which not only heats the buildings and the water, but also provides the heat for their massive food processing dryers.
CHP green technology has allowed 4C Foods Corp. to be independent from the already strained Northeast Electrical Grid, recapture 85 percent of its waste heat, save on energy costs, and pass the savings on to our customers – all the while helping the environment. And to top it all off, our green power plant fits in a 40 foot sound attenuated container that is so sound proof that the noise from the engines is quieter than the passing traffic. That's because we care about our neighbors, our community, our customers, and our world. That's 4C!
